Rachel Bock joined the Rural Financial Counselling Service in January 2014. Since then, Rachel has worked with many clients across the region assisting with debt mediation preparation and support, finance restructures, government assistance applications, industry exit planning and support, pre-succession planning and business plans.
Prior to joining the service Rachel worked in the financial planning industry where she developed a respect for the importance of well-structured financial situations and an interest in assisting clients work through complex financial problems. Rachel also worked with a number of pro bono clients following the collapse of a financial advice company which ignited a passion for providing support and advocacy to people in financial difficulty.
With a Bachelor of Commerce (Banking and Funds Management) and Diploma of Community Service (Financial Counselling) Rachel looks forward to continuing this very worthwhile service with realistic optimism with our primary producers and small rural businesses into the future.

Rachel is based in Longreach at the RFCSNQ head office based within the Remote Area Planning and Development Board. Her operational area covers the Central and North West local government areas.
Rachel in conjunction with her RFC colleagues will ensure no part of North Queensland goes without a dedicated RFC to travel to and meet with clients.
Operators will benefit from contacting Rachel to help identify ways to become self-reliant in business and to better manage change and adjustment.

Client's information is treated in the strictest confidence and services are free and independent of financial institutions, welfare agencies and government.

- Help identify any advice and training needs you may require
