Ian Durham is our RFC based in Townsville and servicing the surrounding region.
Ian has worked in the agricultural finance sector for many years having worked for Elders Rural Bank along with the then Queensland Department of Primary Industries and Fisheries.
Ian has also been a farm financial counsellor, working for AgForce Queensland where he worked on constructing farm business plans, farm budgets, preparing gross margin analysis, undertaking sensitivity analysis, benchmarking, financial statement dissection and assisting producers with development of farm plans to meet eligibility under Native Vegetation Act.
He has also been a RFC for a NSW based service, a loans officer for the former QIDC as well as being a wool, beef and grain primary producer.
Ian services Townsville, Charters Towers and Burdekin regions, meeting up with our RFCs Richard Lewis and Emma Cook to the south and Nick Birchley to the north.
Ian in conjunction with his RFC colleagues will ensure no part of North Queensland goes without a dedicated RFC to travel to and meet with clients.
Operators will benefit from contacting the Ian to help identify ways to become self-reliant in business and to better manage change and adjustment.
Ian can work with you to develop options and support you during the decisions making process.
Client's information is treated in the strictest confidence and services are free and independent of financial institutions, welfare agencies and government.
