Small businesses in Cairns impacted by coronavirus can now access free, independent, professional financial assistance with the appointment of two new small business counsellors to the region.
Small business counsellors can help small businesses get a deep understanding of their financial position, help develop budgets and cash flows, negotiate with creditors as well as assist access government and community grants and schemes.
Any small to medium sized business with one hundred employees or less who are at risk of financial hardship caused by the coronavirus pandemic are eligible to make an appointment with a small business counsellor.
Cam Charlton and Susan Yeeles are ready to take appointments with small business owners in Cairns and surrounds.
Cam Charlton is no newcomer to the Cairns region, he has more than 35 years’ experience in the region as a chartered accountant and accredited management consultant.
He has experience helping businesses in financial stress, but his main focus is on sustainable business growth and development.
